Location Tracking with playback option
This enables the company to monitor the location of their vehicles in real time and take the necessary action if there is any deviation from their original plan. In cases where there are incidents, the playback option allows for the retrieval of past routes plied by the vehicle for the confirmation or otherwise of what is suspected
Geofencing
The geo-fencing feature allows for the creation of a geographical boundary within which the vehicle is expected to operate. Any movement outside that boundary is seen as a violation of the approved area of operation and thus flags the action for the attention of the company.
Routing
The routing functionality is used to plot the best route for the vehicles in order to achieve efficiency.
The main aim is to pre-define the path to be used by the vehicle for which the authorities have planned based or certain parameters not known by the driver and for which deviations may bring inefficiency. Typical example is using shortest route, less traffic routes etc
Fuel Monitoring
Fuel cost is one of the highest cost contributors to the operational cost of operators in the waste management sector and hence there is the need to put a serious check on the use of fuel to ensure that cost is controlled. The fuel monitoring functionality enables the company to track and have visibility on the use of fuel in order to prevent theft and misuse of fuel.
